Roger Phillips

Roger Phillips is the SVP Director of Business Development for the Bank of England Mortgage. His leadership is vital to the fulfillment of the company's vision to serve its branch managers and loan officers. His responsibilities are adding new branch across the US, development of strategic opportunities for sales growth within our branch and corporate structure and client relationships.

Roger is an industry veteran beginning his career in 1989 as a Loan Officer, opening his own mortgage company in 1993 before selling it and moving to the Correspondent channel as a AE, Area Manager and Regional manager in 1998 until joining Bank of England in 2014. “Bank of England Mortgage was a customer of mine, this is where I came to see the success structure from them I was familiar with, owners and Sr managers starting as loan officers knowing how to originate a mortgage loan. If you are going to work with a bank work with one who values and understands the origination side of our business”.

Roger lived and worked in Birmingham Al with his 2 daughter’s Natalie and Mary Kathryn and wife Charlotte. He also was the drummer for the groups The Onlys (With Steve Hines and Kevin Kilpatrick), Unity Lights (with musicians and song writers Jim Aycock and Ken Talley) and City Lights (With Ron Bourdage). After a year at Bank of England Mortgage Roger and his wife made the commitment to move from Birmingham Al and place roots in Little Rock at the corporate office, “My wife and I made this commitment for one reason, family.. We just felt like family from the first day at Bank of England Mortgage so the commitment was easy for us”.
